William M Gibson

Bio

William M. Gibson is a Managing Partner of The Albermarle Group. Prior to that, he served over fifteen years as founder, Chairman and CEO of Manugistics, Inc., until his retirement in February 2001. During his years at Manugistics, Mr. Gibson led the organization from a small start-up to a publicly held company with a market value in excess of $2 billion. Today, the company is a part of JDA Software and remains a recognized leader in supply chain management solutions. Mr. Gibson began his career thirty-five years ago with IBM and subsequently served in sales and marketing management roles with various computer software and services companies. Mr. Gibson sits on the board of a number of companies, serves as a Trustee Associate to Villanova University, and directs the Gibson Family Foundation. He received a B.S. in Economics from Villanova University and completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education program.
