Bio

Bill Sheehan is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Ironside Capital Group and its affiliates. He focuses on transaction origination and portfolio company management in each of the Firm's target industry sectors and is a member of the investment committee. Bill brings over 20 years of experience in the technology and investment fields. Prior to co-founding Ironside, and its predecessor, MF Private Capital, Bill was a Director of Syndications for AT&T Capital Corporation, where he was instrumental in structuring and distributing various forms of debt and equity, and other hybrid transactions. Before joining AT&T Capital Corporation, he was a Vice President and Director of Syndications for American Finance Group, and began his career in commercial banking at The Bank of New England. He has been engaged in investments such as Eloquent, Inc. (NASDAQ: ELQT); Novatel Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ: NVTL); Memsic, Inc.; Arbor Networks, Inc.; Equator Technologies, Inc., (acquired by Pixelworks: PXLW) and CXO Systems, Inc. Bill plays an active role in organizing a yearly benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is one of the founders of the William H. Sheehan Memorial fund which endows college scholarship money to student athletes at his former Rhode Island high school. Additionally, he is a Board member of the Hub Financial Charities, an organization founded subsequent to 9/11 and benefits survivors of tragedies affecting families in New England. Bill received his B.A. from Colby College in 1984.
