Bio
Aaron joined Cobalt in 2007 and is responsible for underwriting and managing ground up development opportunities for the REIT. He has a broad background in finance, accounting, and project management, that spans over 9 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Cobalt, Aaron worked for Metropolitan Capital Advisors where he participated in arranging debt and equity capital on behalf of commercial real estate developers and investors. He was responsible for underwriting over $500 million in commercial real estate transactions across industrial, retail, office, and multifamily property types. He also assisted clients with designing project-specific capital structures, prepared investment packages, and marketed transactions to lenders and joint venture equity investors. Aaron has his BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Michigan.
