Bio

John is responsible for managing, reporting, and valuing portfolio companies as well as due diligence efforts on new opportunities. He is focused on the business and consumer services, and internet sectors. Prior to joining Great Hill Partners in late 2008, John worked in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice in New York, where he performed due diligence services on M&A transactions for middle-market private equity and corporate clients. John started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto and has worked in project management for Descartes Systems Group Inc. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce with High Distinction from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration from Emory University. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
