Bio
Charles is a Managing Partner of Encore Ventures. He has more than 20 years experience advising European companies, venture and private equity groups on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions in his capacity as a former director of Kleinwort Benson, Goldman Sachs and Jefferies International. He has worked in New York, Tokyo and London advising on transactions ranging from the privatisation of the UK electricity industry to financing emerging healthcare and technology companies across Europe. Of note he led the IPOs of certain European well known technology companies, including Bookham Technology and Telecity. Between 2002-2005 he was also the Chief Executive of InTechnology, the provider of data storage and data security products and services. He is currently a non-executive director of Gas Turbine Efficiency and Achilles Group. Charles is a graduate of the University of North Carolina.
