Dave Wortman

Bio

Dave is a venture partner with Spring Mill Venture Partners. He works with the Spring Mill team to evaluate new investment opportunities and manage the firm’s portfolio companies. He is currently Executive Chairman of SonarMed, a medical device company targeting the respiratory care market, and Akoya, a product cost management software company. Dave previously served as CEO of Mezzia, a provider of healthcare capital spending management solutions; as chairman and CEO of Made2Manage Systems (NASDAQ: MTMS), a developer of enterprise business systems for small and midsize companies; and as co-founder of Pritsker Corporation, a decision support software company. He also served as a director of Cohesia, a manufacturing supply chain software company; Vastera (NASDAQ: VAST), a trade management solutions provider; and Walker Information, a developer of customer loyalty management solutions. Dave is also a director and past chairman of the TechPoint Foundation, a former director of the Indiana 21st Century Research and Technology Fund, and former president of the Indiana Information Technology Association and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Dave holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
