Hitesh joined New Silk Route Advisors in July 2007 and focuses on private equity opportunities in the Indian sub-continent out of the Mumbai office. Hitesh has previously worked as Associate at Brescon Corporate Advisors where he worked on equity, mezzanine/quasi-equity raising (growth or recapitalization) and M&A advisory (distressed sale of assets) for mid-cap companies across various sectors (logistics, auto ancillaries, packaging, hospitality, pharma, BFSI, textiles). He was involved in raising USD 13 million (equity and debt) capital for the One of the Top 5 largest flexible packaging companies in India. Prior to Brescon, Hitesh worked as an Analyst at HCL Technologies on the Corporate Finance team, where he assisted in analyzing various opportunities which aligned with the group’s strategic interest across applications, infrastructure, and the business process outsourcing space. While at HCL, he was also a part of the Commercial Team, a pilot team chosen by the President to build complex pricing models and draft commercial terms in order to win bids for existing and new clients (often Fortune 500 Companies). Hitesh has done his Masters in Commerce from University of Mumbai. He has also done his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - Finance from S.P. Jain Center of Management.
