Jake Ryan is the founder and portfolio manager of Tradecraft Capital, which was formed in January 2018. Prior to the formation of Tradecraft, Mr. Ryan had 20 years of professional experience in developing software technology, as well as personal investing experience including trading and investing in stocks, bonds, real estate, and options, and, more recently, crypto assets. Mr. Ryan has been the founder and CEO of Venice Consulting Group (VCG), an application development company as well as a startup advisor, angel investor and advisor to Mucker Capital. Jake Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1997 from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also an author of research work in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), security and privacy. Mr. Ryan has been the keynote speaker at AI conferences and has published his work, “Intrusion Detection with Neural Networks”, which has over 600 Google Scholar Citations.
