Founded LMP in 1999. He serves as the Chairman and a Managing Director. Prior to founding LMP, Jeff co-founded Putnam Lovell Securities, now Putnam Lovell NBF, in 1987 following a career at SEI Investments where he held executive and operating positions. As co-founder of Putnam Lovell Securities, Jeff served as the lead banker on numerous merger and acquisition transactions in the financial services industry on behalf of a diverse group of clients such as American Century Investments, Commerzbank AG, Liechtenstein Global Trust, Massachusetts Mutual, Montgomery Securities, Nationwide Insurance and New York Life. In his banking efforts, Jeff also served as the senior banker to a prestigious list of private investment firms including the Benham Group, Roger Engemann & Associates, Hotchkis & Wiley, Pilgrim Baxter & Associates and Provident Investment Counsel. Prior to co-founding Putnam Lovell Securities, Jeff held executive positions at SEI Investments. Jeff served as Senior Vice President for International Business Development and Managing Director of SEI Financial Services in the UK. He opened SEI's first overseas office in London, investigated businesses and ventures within Europe and introduced various international investment management services. From 1976 to 1985, Jeff directed regional and national sales efforts within various divisions of SEI. Member of the Boards of Directors of ALPS Holdings, Berkeley Capital Management, Duff & Phelps, and PlanMember Financial Corporation. Jeff is also a Board Member of the Burridge Center for Securities Analysis at the University of Colorado and a member of the Investment Committee of CU Foundation. Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, cum laude, with a major in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has conducted graduate studies in international relations at the University of Southern California.
