Founding partner of GMT and has 22 years of private equity investment experience in the Communications Industry. Conceived the idea for BCEL, GMT’s predecessor fund, was the managing partner from 1995 to 2000, and was Chairman of its Executive Committee. Prior to co-founding BCEL, was a managing director of the Veronis Suhler & Associates (VS&A) communications investment fund in New York. Joined VS&A in 1987, helping to build a $200 million investment portfolio across Europe and North America. Prior to VS&A, spent 10 years in operating positions in the publishing and cable TV industries, principally on international assignments. Current directorships include DOCUgroup, PEPcom and Redext. MBA from the Wharton School. MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Fellow of the Lauder Institute of International Studies. BA from Hobart College.
