Founded London and Edinburgh Trust plc (LET) and was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, developing it into one of the leading listed real estate companies in the UK. Floated the company with a market capitalisation of £27 million in 1983 and eventually sold the business in 1990 for approximately £510 million. Following the sale of LET, established Pacific Investments and acquired River & Mercantile through which the Group's asset management businesses were established. Qualified Chartered Accountant.
