Mr Goldman serves as Managing Partner and CEO of Genesis Capital. Jonathan founded Genesis Capital in July of 2002 with the vision of establishing a leading independent investment banking advisory and consultancy firm. Prior to Genesis Capital, Jonathan was a Managing Director of Robertson Stephens, LLC and a member of that Firm's Management Committee. At Robertson Stephens, Jonathan's primary responsibilities included managing the firm's global investment banking activities for the Software Group, Electronic Manufacturing Products and Services Group and Energy Technologies Group and was a senior member of the firm's Healthcare Team. Jonathan also managed the Atlanta office and the regional banking activities focused on the southeastern United States. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens in 2000, Jonathan was a Managing Director with The Robinson-Humphrey Company, LLC where he headed the Healthcare Group and also focused on leading technology solution and service providers. From 1987 to 1995, Jonathan was in the investment banking group of Credit Suisse First Boston, Inc. Prior to beginning his career in the securities industry, Jonathan was an Associate in a real estate development and brokerage concern in Austin, Texas. Jonathan has completed a wide variety of transactions during his investment banking career. He has expertise in initial and secondary public offerings of equity, public debt underwriting, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, going private transactions, private placements of non-registered securities and derivative hedging transactions. Mr Goldman attended The University of Texas and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing.
