Melina has over ten years of investment banking experience working with top tier firms covering public and private companies in both the large corporate and middle market sectors. Previously, Melina served as an investment banking associate for JPMorgan Securities, Inc. in Chicago, where she was a member of the Mid-Corporate Investment Banking group. While there, she provided financial advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, acquisition financings, defense advisory/hostile takeovers, leveraged buyouts, debt financings, private placements and public equity offerings (both initial public offerings and follow-ons). Melina worked with mid-cap and small-cap companies across a broad range of industries including steel/metals and mining, retail, consumer products, paper/packaging, and global industrials. Prior to JPMorgan, Melina served as an analyst for Citigroup Global Markets in Chicago, in the Branded Consumer and Agricultural Group. While there she covered Midwest-based large corporate clients such as McDonald's, Sara Lee, General Mills, and Procter & Gamble, amongst others. Melina has a bachelor's degree in economics and international studies from Northwestern University.
