Appointed non-executive director and chairman of Charlemagne Capital in March 2006. Has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, trading and private banking in New York, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Zurich. Chairman and Founder of Baer Capital Partners, a Dubai based Asset Management and Corporate Finance Company which specialises in the Indian market. Before that, was the Head of Private Banking and Member of the Executive Board at Julius Bär Group. Also serves on the board of Falcon Private Bank, AG, Zurich. Graduate of the Sloane School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he currently serves on the Dean's Advisory Council.
