Bio
Mr Brashier is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Hickory Venture Group and has served in various leadership roles in the financial services industry, including banking, insurance and securities brokerage. Prior to joining Hickory, he was Vice President, Finance and Credit Group at AmSouth Bancorporation serving in Strategic Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Investor Relations. Mr Brashier also served as a Director in Corporate Finance at Caremark Rx, as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at ProAssurance Inc and as an Assistant Vice President of Finance at Sterne, Agee & Leach. He began his career with Ernst & Young in the financial and information systems audit group. Mr Brashier holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his Master in Business Administration at the University of Alabama. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
