Sal has over 20 years experience in private equity investing, investment banking and financial management. Sal works closely with David Ellis in evaluating and executing investments on behalf of clients and for EGL. Sal’s background includes Prudential-Bache Venture Capital, Telesphere International, and Price Waterhouse. He has served as a board member of the Atlanta Venture Forum since 1990. Mr. Massaro was president of SORASBIC (Southern Regional Association of SBICs) from 1998 to 1999, and is a former member of the Board of Governors of NASBIC (the National Association of SBICs). His professional memberships include the Association for Corporate Growth, the Business & Technology Alliance, IEEE, Institute of Management Accountants, MIT Enterprise Forum, NASBIC, SORASBIC, the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), Southeastern Software Association, and the Technology Association of Georgia. Sal is a former President of the Southern Regional Association of SBIC’s and member of the NASBIC Board of Governors. Sal holds a M.B.A. from Harvard University and B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University
