Bio

Prior to joining 3i, was a founding member and Senior Vice President of the US buyout consumer/retail practice of The Carlyle Group. At Carlyle, held key governance and investment roles for the Dunkin’ Brands, OTC and philosophy transactions. Previously, worked at Ripplewood Holdings focusing on US and Japanese buyouts in the industrials, financials and telecom sectors. Began his career in the investment banking and principal investment groups of Goldman, Sachs & Co in New York and London, respectively. Has also worked at McKinsey & Co as a strategy consultant. Previously sat on a number of corporate Boards and is currently a Director of Phibro. Also remains active in philanthropic activities and is on the Boards of Youth, INC (Improving Non-Profits for Children) and the New York Private Equity Network. Graduated with distinction from Cornell University. MBA from Harvard Business School.
