Tom Harrison

Bio

As Deputy Executive Director of TCDRS, Tom Harrison oversees various TCDRS departments including Legal, Administrative Services, Human Resources, and Compliance Assurance. Harrison also serves as the liaison to both the Texas Legislature and associations of county and district officials. Previous to this role, Harrison served as the general counsel for TCDRS. Before TCDRS, Harrison served as director of elections for the Texas Secretary of State and also as executive director of the Texas Ethics Commission. Harrison received an undergraduate degree in accounting from Texas A&M University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
